How much does the driver's license Reinstatement cost?

The cost depends what state you are in and includes all reinstatement fees plus a reapplication fee when applicable.

How can I initiate the driver license reinstatement process?

This can be different depending on why the suspension took place. Certain suspensions only need the payment of reinstatement fees after the suspension period is over. Court ordered suspensions may want a clearance from the court. Suspensions because of a Driving Under the Influence (DUI) conviction, Implied Consent violation or Mandatory Insurance violation need the filing of an SR-22 certificate with MVD and payment of driver license reinstatement fees after the period of suspension is over.

What is a traffic complaint suspension?

If you do not show up in court, or fail to pay a fine for a moving traffic violation, the court may direct MVD to suspend your driving privileges.

How can I reinstate a revocation?

MVD has to conduct an investigation of your driving record by going over department records and other sufficient evidence to find that all withdrawal actions are finished; that you have not committed any traffic violations during revocation; and that all other legal rules are satisfied. After the investigation, you may get a Permission to Apply notice. If the revocation is alcohol or drug related, you will need to provide MVD with an evaluation from a licensed physician, psychologist or certified substance abuse counselor regarding your ability to safely use a motor vehicle because of alcohol's effects.

For substance abuse related revocations you will be needed to file an SR-22 certificate with MVD.
